000webhost for the price tag associated with the account I have to say that the feature is interesting. Easy to use automated tools, free templates, and a simple player-bound site builder – even if some bits are a bit broken. All in all, an XNTX’s grand purchase price – not bad.

Before I dive into the nuts and bolts of 000WebHost, I think it is wise to include a short seg. Free web hosting. Any type of web hosting, be it free or otherwise still requires the same tools on the part of the web hosting provider.
The first thing to note is that servers, software and bandwidth all require significant capital investment. These investments need to be recouped somehow, so you can usually expect to come under pressure to upgrade your account. In some cases, free web hosts may even offer your data to partners.
On another level, there are many limitations to a free account. These vary depending on the host – some will impose mandatory ads on your site, strict server resource constraints and you will only be allowed to use certain domain name formats. In the case of 000WebHost it will be:

The advantage of 000WebHost
1. 1- Easy signup with click registration
Signing up for 000WebHost is an incredibly fast and painless experience. The usual format is to go through a registration process where you must fill in a ton of details and give them all kinds of information, then verify your email address.
With 000WebHost you can either do the above or take advantage of their 1-click registration where you can sign in with your Google or Facebook account. I tried Google Sign Up and it works fast, painless and well.
2. Instructed site building
The first thing that happens when you sign in to a newly created account is that the 000WebHost system will present you with a series of questions. This is a category I’ve seen before other site builders and it helps, especially in the case of 000WebHost.
As I mentioned earlier in my introduction, 000WebHost is meant for people who are new to website building and this can be a big help. Instead of forcing them to consider the technical details of a build, 000WebHost helps to present a series of questions that will guide the build.
3. Four site creation options
For those who may not be completely new to the website creation process, you can skip the directed questions and go to the original dashboard. It presents you with 4 options – to use Native 000WebHost Site Builder, install WordPress, use Wix or upload your own site.
Of the four, choosing Wix actually takes you out of the 000WebHost environment and instead takes you to the Wix site, which is beyond the scope of this review (you can read my Wix review instead). Since I don’t have a site-created shell, I decided to try their WordPress and local site builder options.
Selecting WordPress lets you create a basic WordPress site with their automated tools. All you have to do is enter your preferred username and password for the database. You have to decide to try the local site builder – well, that works a lot of others as well.
4. Native site builder is easy to use
Using Native Site Builder is relatively tedious and is your ideal visual editor experience. I found some of their nifty drag and drop tools as simple as Google Maps and YouTube. Interestingly for a free service, there are some ecommerce tools you can use.
5. Lots of templates
One thing I must approve of is that 000WebHost has provided a ton of free templates for their local site builders. This is probably a good thing because new site owners may not have a clear idea of what they want or need, and these templates serve as a good guide for them.
6. Dignified site performance
I personally had little experience with free hosting services, but still, I ran a basic template site through my standard webpageSpeed test.
The results were somewhat surprising, especially since they scored extremely high in their time-to-first-byte (TTFB).
From the tracking I did to HostScore, the 000WebHost score for server performance over 70.00%. Average response speed 10ms from 281.54 different locations.

7. Multiple support channels
Support is provided primarily through a knowledgebase, but there is a huge population forum that you can turn to for help. Interestingly, there are also annoying channels that you can rarely join for web hosting support.

The dashboard for my website was not something I expected from a free service. It provides a single page view of your site’s statistics, including the amount of resources it uses (or currently uses). True, the information is very basic, but basically what do you expect for a price?
9. Site and service integration
I was a little hesitant at first to include this section here, but 000WebHost has a section called Power Store. At first, I thought these were somehow integrated services that users could access.
Unfortunately, these are just some of the goal setting shareware that you can use. Currently there is only a limited inclusion, such as links to Wix, Shopify, Elementor and of course, Hostinger.
After reflection, this section can also be useful for newcomers to web hosting, giving them new areas to explore once they get used to their basic sites. Although the 000WebHost section would have been better for users with some more clarification.
The disadvantage of 000WebHost
1. Unstable builder
Error Message When Installing WordPress The WordPress Installer gives anti-message and just … fails.
Although under my professional section I mentioned multiple ways to create a website using 000WebHost, some of them unfortunately failed to deliver. For example, the WordPress installer failed to work (twice) when sending conflicting messages – both success and failure messages will be displayed.
Despite the fact that a database has been created. If you keep trying to run the WordPress installer, the system will tell you that you have too many existing databases. This can end up being extremely confusing for anyone who is new to hosting in any way.
2. Local site builders seem a little unpublished

The native site builder works fine, but it seems a bit vague and the interface showed some graphic errors in my Chrome browser. The templates take a long time to load and for some strange reason, my screen seems to be loading the loader. Small issues that don’t inevitably break the site builder – just weird and uncomfortable.
3. Apply daily 1hr downtime
So far if you are wondering what the catch is for all the free stuff of 000WebHost, the biggest thing here is – for every 24 hour cycle, you need to get your website down for 1 hour. You can choose when that period will be, but it will not fail and will be isolated from the world for that period.

4. Constant pop up
You will have to pay the bills somehow and with the exception of its free plan, 000WebHost also offers some very cheap hosting plans you can upgrade. Unfortunately, the phenomenon is annoying and notices of plasters everywhere encourage you to upgrade. If that’s not enough, you should provide them with pop-up ads to upgrade. It’s getting old fast.

2. Who should host at 000WebHost?
Yes, 000WebHost can be a good sandbox for your game if you have never created a website before and have no idea what you are doing. Other than that if you want to run some basic websites which will probably not see much traffic, that would be as good as that.
If you are looking forward to buying it for a long time and want to create a better site, I recommend you to visit their parents, instead of Hostinger. This will give you better long term prospects, as well as some decent prices for shared hosting.
