Xiaomi continues to implement its own plans to transfer all current smartphones to MIUI 13 firmware.
Unfortunately, things don’t go quite smoothly, so some users have to wait much longer than planned. However, work is underway and the other day it became known that 7 more old Xiaomi smartphones should receive MIUI 13 global firmware in the near future. We are talking about Redmi Note 9, Redmi 9, Redmi Note 9S, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Promax. The developer does not forget about the POCO subsidiary brand, the POCO M2 and POCO M2 Pro models are moving to the global version of MIUI 13.
Recall that all these smartphones initially worked on the basis of the proprietary MIUI 11 shell, based on the Android 10 operating system. For many devices, this update will be the last of the major ones. Members of the xiaomiui community, who got the information about the upcoming update, report that mass distribution is scheduled for the third quarter of 2022.
