Near Kharkov, during the elimination of a fire, a rescuer was injured as a result of repeated enemy shelling.
The press service of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“On May 23, during combat work to eliminate a fire that occurred as a result of enemy shelling, a firefighter of the 27th State Fire and Rescue Unit was injured in one of the settlements of the Malodanilovsky community. There, 3 private residential buildings burned at once on a total area of about 800 square meters. m. During the elimination of fire, repeated shelling took place, as a result of which the rescuer was injured, ”the report says.
According to the department, the rescuer is currently in the hospital, there is no threat to his life.
As Ukrinform reported, according to Anatoly Toryanik, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as of May 22, two Kharkiv firefighters were killed and seven were injured during double shelling.
