Consumer prices for gasoline in the Russian Federation did not change during the week from May 14 to May 20, according to data from the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).
Compared to the beginning of the year, consumer prices for gasoline in Russia increased by 0.6%.
The cost of a liter of gasoline on average in the country decreased by 4 kopecks over the week. and on May 20 amounted to 50.67 rubles. The average cost of a liter of AI-92 gasoline also decreased by 4 kopecks. – to 47.28 rubles, the cost of a liter of AI-95 decreased by 5 kopecks. – up to 51.34 rubles, the price of AI-98 – also 5 kopecks. – up to 60.15 rubles. Diesel fuel fell in price by 4 kopecks. – up to 54.46 rubles.
During the period from May 14 to May 20, a decrease in prices for motor gasoline was recorded in 22 subjects of the Russian Federation. Most of all, it fell in price in the Komi Republic – by 4.3%, the Nenets Autonomous Okrug – by 1.7%.
An increase in prices for motor gasoline was noted in the Republics of Tyva and Adygea – by 0.2% and 0.1%, respectively.
In Moscow, over the past period, prices for motor gasoline have not changed, in St. Petersburg they have decreased by 0.1%.
At the observed filling stations in Moscow, AI-92 brand gasoline could be purchased at a price of 46.09 to 48.31 rubles, AI-95 brand – from 50.99 to 57.09 rubles, AI-98 brand and higher – from 59.60 to 63.99 rubles. per litre. In St. Petersburg, AI-92 brand gasoline cost from 46.30 to 48.23 rubles, AI-95 brand – from 50.45 to 53.69 rubles, AI-98 brand and higher – from 59.70 to 62 .35 rub. per litre.
