Governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoit on Thursday, May 26, announced cotton in one of the districts of the region.
“Currently, information is being received about cotton in the Sudzhansky district. The outskirts of the village of Vorobzha were attacked by the enemy. Our military worked out their targets, but the enemy managed to damage several houses, including the school building: windows were broken in it, ”he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties among the civilian population.
In the Kursk region and other regions bordering Ukraine, the yellow level of terrorist danger continues to operate. It has been extended since April 11th.
The border territories of the Kursk region were repeatedly subjected to shelling. So, on May 23, Russian air defense forces prevented a provocation by Ukrainian troops in the Rylsky district of the region.
A few days earlier, on May 21, Starovoit spoke about the shelling of border villages in the region by Ukraine. There were no casualties.
