The authorities of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) are ready to provide benefits to Russian investors. The head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, announced this on Thursday, May 26.
He noted that from an economic point of view, the territory has always been profitable.
“We consider it necessary to attract investors, of course, representatives of the Russian Federation, for whom, in general, we are already ready to provide trade and customs benefits and other preferences,” TASS quoted the head of the LPR as saying.
Earlier in the day, the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, said that Mariupol would be rebuilt with a focus on the resort business. He also said that, according to preliminary estimates, more than 60% of the houses in the city cannot be restored, RT reports.
In addition, he said that in the north of the DPR, it is necessary to speed up the special operation due to the fact that Kyiv cut off the water, NSN reports.
On February 24, Russia launched an operation to protect civilians in the Donbass. Moscow explained that the tasks of the special operation included demilitarization and denazification, the implementation of which is necessary to ensure the security of Russia.
