The Pioneer DM-50D-BT is an upgraded version of the DM-50D, while the DM-40D models are updates to the DM-40. Both DM-40D-BT and DM-50D-BT speakers support Bluetooth.
The Pioneer DM-50D-BT speaker has several features that make it useful when creating music. It features a Class D amplifier with a sampling rate of 96kHz, a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack, a two-way design with a 5″ woofer and a 0.75″ soft dome tweeter. The unit also features a Pioneer DECO convex cone and an elegant design. The speaker cabinet has grooved channels to reduce air friction even when placed against a wall.
As for the Pioneer DM-40D and DM-40D-BT models, they are equipped with a 4-inch woofer and have the same functions as the DM-50D-BT. All three speakers deliver 25W of audio power.
With RCA, mini jack and the newly added TRS input jacks, the user will be able to connect various devices such as DJ controllers and mixers, as well as a laptop or sound card. Connecting headphones is also very easy via the 3.5 mm jack on the front panel, the volume control is located right on the speaker.
Three Pioneer DJ speakers will be available for purchase consecutively from this week through June. Pioneer’s DM-40D will sell for around $186, the DM-40D-BT at $211 and the DM-50D-BT at $286.
