Popular rapper Kanye West (Ye) has filed 17 trademark applications on behalf of his Yeezus brand, including in the NFT space. Apparently, the artist has changed his mind about tokens and plans to create his own collection.
The package of documents was received by the Patent Office on May 27. The fields of activity affected by the application include: the development and promotion of blockchain-based collectibles, assets and tokens, as well as the services of an online store offering downloadable films, videos, music, entertainment, digital art.
All this takes place under the Yeezus brand. The giver is Mascotte Holdings, Inc, which is owned by West. The rapper has previously shocked the public with such a number of applications, but now the package of documents looks justified.
