Clevo has announced a gaming laptop Clevo X270. The novelty will offer 12th generation Intel Core processors from the Alder Lake-H series, and will also be equipped with a powerful discrete graphics accelerator Intel Arc A770M, which was announced but has not yet been released.
The most interesting feature of the Clevo X270 will be the flagship mobile graphics accelerator Intel Arc A770M. The latter is based on the Intel ACM-G10 graphics chip with 32 Xe cores and 32 beam acceleration units. The card has 16 GB of GDDR6 memory with support for 256-bit interface. The accelerator GPU runs at 165 GHz. The TDP of the video card varies from 120 to 150 watts, depending on the configuration of a laptop model.
Clevo is a large OEM manufacturer of laptops. It produces laptops for companies and brands such as Alienware, Eurocom, Gigabyte, Maingear, MSI, Sager, Schenker, XMG and Xotic PC. Sometimes Clevo produces laptops under its own brand. The manufacturer did not announce the full technical characteristics of the Clevo X270 laptop, but still shared some details about the novelty.
The laptop will offer a 17.3-inch screen on a panel with Mini LED backlight from AU Optronics. The laptop’s cooling system will include seven heat-conducting tubes and a liquid metal thermal interface. The company also announced that as external interfaces the novelty will receive a LAN connector, two Thunderbolt 4 (USB Type-C), one mini-DisplayPort, HDMI, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 and one combined 3.5 mm audio output.
