A temporary terminal for passenger cars has been set up at the Krakovets-Korchova checkpoint on the border with Poland. 8 modules were delivered from the Polish side. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Yuriy Buchko.
“The project envisages an updated area for cars and buses, pavilions for cars, red and green corridors for cars,” he added.

According to him, this will increase the capacity of this transition by at least 50%. Relevant agreements were reached within the framework of intergovernmental consultations held at the Krakovets-Korchova checkpoint.
It should be noted that the entrance to the passport and customs control zone will be through traffic lights, and the exit – through barriers.
It will be recalled that Ukraine and Poland have agreed to increase the capacity of the Krakovets-Korchova private enterprise by at least 50% within the framework of the Open Border project. The project also plans to completely build new and modernize existing checkpoints on the western borders.
