The host of the Argument600 channel named the best and worst Qualcomm Snapdragon processors that power modern mobile devices. And that’s why he singled out several categories.
You should definitely not buy smartphones with Snapdragon 200 series (ie 200, 205, 208, 210, 212, 215), 400 series (400, 410, 412, 425, 427; they are very outdated). You can try to buy a device with Snapdragon 415, but this only makes sense if you have a very limited budget.
The Snapdragon 429 and 439 are also at about the same level in terms of quality. Next to them is the SD 430/435. But it is still not worth buying devices with them.
It stands out from weak Snapdragon 450 processors. But its RAM speed is low.
The Snapdragon 460 is below the others in the “Minimally enough” category. It is already built according to the scheme with large-caliber cores, it has a fairly good memory speed, and it supports modern Bluetooth standards.
For comfortable smartphone use, the expert advises to take Snapdragon 480 or 480+. This chip even supports 5G.
Among the Snapdragon 600 series chips, you should not take 600, 610, 615, 616, 617, 625, 626, 650, 652, 653, 680. Instead, if you have a small amount of money, it is better to pay attention to 660/636/6.
If you want a slightly better device, then a smartphone with a Snapdragon 662 or 665 processor is suitable. For comfortable work, you will need devices based on SD 675, 678 or 690.
Snapdragon 695 is considered the premium version.
The Snapdragon 7XX should be based on the SD 710 or 712 processor. It will provide a comfortable level of performance. Snapdragon 720, 730 and 735 also fall into this category.
