A banner “Crimea is Ukraine” appeared on the website of the Russian authorities of the Nakhimovsky district of Sevastopol. This is reported by the Russian telegram channel “Mash on the Wave”.
“Hackers broke in and wreaked havoc: now there is a banner with a flag, coat of arms and a phrase in Ukrainian. IT people are working hard and trying to restore everything, ”the publication reported.
At the time of publication of the news, the flag of Ukraine is no longer displayed, but the inscription “Crimea is Ukraine” still remains.
On May 10, Ukrainian authorities announced that Russian hackers carried out a massive DDoS attack on leading Ukrainian telecommunications operators.
Russia has consistently denied accusations related to cyber activity, including Kyiv’s allegation of large-scale cyber attacks as part of a “hybrid war” against Ukraine.
