For this video, the team created parts of Kamakura-era Japan (1192-1333) on the new Epic game engine. The showcase features new Unreal Engine 5 Lumen lighting technology and the Nanite virtualized geometry system. Following various reports and rumors, Ubisoft has officially confirmed the existence of Assassin’s Creed Infinity last year, which is said to be still in the relatively early stages of development. The next part of the franchise is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Quebec through a joint inter-studio structure led by franchise veteran Marc-Alexis Kote.
