A teenager, wounded during shelling by the armed forces of Ukraine (APU) of the village of Stakhanov, died in the hospital. This was reported to journalists on June 15 at the headquarters of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR).
“One of the minors who were injured during the shelling of Stakhanov died in the hospital,” the Luganskinformtsentr website quotes a representative of the headquarters.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Kyiv security forces fired at Stakhanov and Krynichnoye from the Uragan multiple rocket launcher, killing three civilians.
Also on Wednesday, Izvestia war correspondent Alexei Poltoranin filmed the work of air defense (air defense) near the city of Stakhanov. On the presented frames, traces of the use of air defense systems are visible in the sky.
On June 12, the LPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime (JCCC) reported that a kindergarten, 11 multi-apartment residential buildings and seven private housing constructions were damaged in Stakhanov as a result of shelling.
On June 9, as a result of a Ukrainian strike on the city, medical and pedagogical colleges with a hostel, an industrial and economic technical school, the Pobeda stadium, the Gornyak city park, the administrative building of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a public catering establishment and a low-pressure gas pipeline were damaged.
The shelling was carried out from multiple launch rocket systems “Hurricane” with high-explosive and cluster-type shells.
On the same day, it was reported that the central city hospital of Stakhanov had been destroyed due to shelling from the Ukrainian side.
On February 24, Russia launched a special operation to protect Donbass. Moscow explained that the tasks of the special operation include the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, the implementation of which is necessary to ensure the security of Russia. The decision was made against the backdrop of aggravation in the region as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian military.
