Amazon will start delivering parcels to unmanned aerial vehicles. Amazon Prime Air service will be launched in Locford, California.
The American giant e-commerce has received appropriate permits from the local authorities and the US Civil Aviation Administration. The company states that all the drones used to deliver orders are equipped with a system of obstacle avoidance.
Customers will be able to use Amazon Prime Air to order products. The drone will deliver the parcel to the house and drop it from a safe height.
