Under the Continuing Appropriation and Funding Support for Ukraine 2023 Act, funds will be provided to federal agencies to organize further assistance to Kyiv.

The bill was approved by the US Senate yesterday. More than 60 legislators supported the initiative. These votes are enough to approve the project.

It is planned to allocate $3 billion for sending military equipment and weapons to Ukraine, as well as for transport support, the provision of supplies and maintenance, support for the provision of intelligence to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) and the country’s security forces.

Another $4.5 billion, as stated in the text of the bill, is proposed to be directed to economic support for Ukraine, including ensuring the work of the country’s government bodies.

Meanwhile, on September 30, the Pentagon signed a contract with a manufacturer of communications and military equipment SRCTec worth almost $12.1 million to maintain the UKR / TPQ-50 radars for the needs of the Ukrainian army.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova noted that the volume of American financial assistance to Ukraine will soon reach an astronomical amount of $26 billion.

A day earlier, it became known that the United States would send another $1.1 billion military aid package to Ukraine, including HIMARS MLRS and armored vehicles.

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned on September 27 that the United States is getting closer to becoming a party to the conflict in Ukraine. So he commented to journalists on the statement by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken that Washington does not object to Kyiv’s use of Western weapons in the liberated territories.
