2 killed, 40 injured in bus crash in Mexico

In the Mexican state of Sinaloa in the northwest of the country, a bus collided with a truck, killing the drivers of both vehicles and injuring 44 others. The incident was reported on May 29 by Televisa News.

According to the channel, the driver of the bus was the culprit of the accident. He drove into the oncoming lane to overtake another car and collided closely with a truck. The cab of the truck was completely crushed from the impact.

As noted in the material, the injured passengers were taken to hospitals. The condition of at least 10 of them is assessed as serious.

The District Attorney’s office is investigating further circumstances of the accident.

Earlier, on May 25, there was an accident involving a tour bus in the eastern Indian state of Odisha. As a result of the incident, six people were killed and 45 others were injured.

It was noted that during the movement from the bus, which was in poor technical condition, a wheel fell off. The driver lost control, the vehicle overturned and fell off a cliff. Five people died on the spot, another died in the hospital.
