Biden spoke about his intention to run for a second term

US President Joe Biden intends to run for a second presidential term in the 2024 elections, but he has not yet made a firm decision. He stated this on Wednesday, February 8, in an interview with the American television channel PBS.
Democratic fraternity: can Biden stay for a second term
And who else in the US is running for the presidency?

The American leader was reminded that some voters are worried about his age: at the time of the next presidential election, Biden will be 82 years old. However, this fact does not bother the head of state and does not affect his decision to nominate his candidacy.

“Watch me is all I can say. Last night I heard people say, “Oh my God, age is not an issue anymore,” he said in an interview.

The US leader also added that he is absolutely honest with his voters and would not hide if any health problems prevented him from doing his job.

On February 6, the Associated Press conducted a poll, according to the results of which it became known that the majority of Democrats do not want Biden to run for a second term. The study showed that only 37% of Democrats want the re-election of the head of state.

As director of the Franklin Roosevelt Foundation for the Study of the United States (MSU), Americanist Yuri Rogulev, told Izvestiya on January 30, polls conducted during the congressional elections showed that the US population does not want to see either Biden or former American leader Donald Trump.
