Called to shoot Ukrainians: a pro-Russian propagandist was exposed in Kyiv

In Kyiv, the Security Service of Ukraine exposed the illegal activities of a pro-Russian propagandist who called for the imprisonment and execution of Ukrainian prisoners.

According to Ukrinform, the Main Directorate of the SBU in Kyiv and the Kyiv region reports this on Facebook.

The attacker created a network of anti-Ukrainian information resources. Their total audience was more than 150 thousand users.

The cyber-specialists of the special services established that the accounts in social networks and telegram channels were administered by a resident of the capital, a former military man.

The propagandist used the created networks to justify the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. In particular, he published materials on the planning of shelling of railway facilities.

In addition, law enforcement officers found in the attacker’s mobile devices correspondence with former Russian servicemen who now live in the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

“Here, the traitor expressed support for the Russian invaders, called for the destruction of any country with nuclear weapons, the landing of enemy troops in the capital of our state, called Ukrainians and Americans artificial nations. Also, from the beginning of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, the attacker talked about traffic in the capital, called for the imprisonment and execution of Ukrainian prisoners,” the report says.

 

During a search at the place of residence in the Pechersky district of the capital, SBU employees seized computer and mobile equipment, which was used to administer resources.

Currently, investigators of the Main Directorate of the SBU in Kyiv and the Kyiv region have announced to the person involved on suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reported, on May 23, the Solomensky District Court of Kyiv sentenced Russian military Vadim Shishimarin to life imprisonment in the case of the murder of a civilian in the Sumy region.
