Branches of the international consulting company Deloitte in Russia and Belarus will resume their activities from May 24, but under the new name “Business Solutions and Technologies”. This was stated by the organization itself.
“From May 24, 2022, the Russian company, which was previously part of the Deloitte international network, will continue to work in Russia and Belarus under its own Business Solutions and Technologies brand,” the organization’s press service said.
At the same time, Deloitte will continue to provide clients with audit and consulting services in full.
Auditing companies, along with many other foreign organizations, began to massively suspend their activities on the territory of the Russian Federation and Belarus after Russia launched a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbass on February 24. Thus, in March, the Russian market temporarily left the company KPMG, which employs more than 4.5 thousand people from the two countries.
In the same month, one of the largest audit and consulting companies PwC also announced the termination of its activities. A similar decision was made by the American IT company Microsoft.
