Elon Musk’s SpaceX will start accepting cryptocurrency

The SpaceX online store will start accepting cryptocurrencies. Elon Musk announced this on Twitter.

The innovation applies only to the Dogecoin (DOGE) cryptocurrency.

According to the WhiteBIT cryptocurrency exchange, after this announcement, the cost of DOGE soared by 13.5% in 10 minutes and rose from $0.0778 to $0.0885. Later, the exchange rate stabilized a bit. On May 30, one coin costs $0.0855.

At the moment, only merch is available for purchase for cryptocurrency in SpaceX. In the comments, one of the billionaire’s subscribers asked if it would be possible in the future to pay for access to Starlink satellite Internet in DOGE. Musk replied: “Maybe one day.”
