On Monday, May 30, mobile communication was lost in the Kherson region. It was turned off by the Russian military.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of the head of the military-civilian administration of Kherson Gennady Laguta in a comment to Suspіlna.
“Orcs have turned off (mobile communications and the Internet – ed.). Only the provider works in Skynet through Crimea,” he said.
At the same time, Laguta’s adviser Serhiy Khlan added that attempts to block Ukrainian mobile communications and the Internet had been made before.
“Communication has been disappearing for the third day already. The occupiers are constantly manipulating, constantly accusing the Armed Forces of Ukraine of losing communication and that shelling is taking place. But this is not so. And if we talk about the disappearance of communication, you need to look at the fact that at the same time introduces a Russian operator with the +7 code and starts distributing mobile cards,” Khlan explained.
