In the city of Azov near Rostov, 28 people were evacuated from a burning residential building. The fire spread to an apartment on the fourth floor. This was announced on Wednesday, September 21, in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
“At 18:15, information was received that a fire had occurred in an apartment on the fourth floor. Fire on an area of 30 sq. 28 people were evacuated,” the press service said.
According to the ministry, the fire broke out on Moskovskaya Street. To extinguish the fire, 39 people and 14 pieces of equipment were involved.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
Earlier Wednesday, more than 1,000 people were evacuated due to a fire at a shopping center in Ryazan. Information about the fire was received at 15:23 local time. There is no information about the victims.
