Kinsta Full Data Review Online

Background: Kinsta is a managed WordPress hosting company designed for enterprises and websites with high volume traffic. Kinsta, a managed WordPress hosting company, was founded in December 2013. Led by its founder and CEO, Mark Gavaldar, the company hosts some world-renowned brands on its servers, including Intuit (Quicken), Ricoh, ASOS, General Electric, and Ubisoft. While the company may not be the largest managed WordPress hosting operation on the market, Kinsta has a solid offer that is worth a closer look.

Professionals: Kinsta hosting is the reason for hosting

1. Solid server performance reliable and extremely fast

When you pay only মাসে 25 a month to host a WordPress site – you expect nothing more than the best. Thanks, Kinsta Hosting lives up to our test based on their quality service.

In terms of server reliability, our test site did not run for more than 2018 minutes between March 6 and scored 99.98% uptime.

Site speed was equally impressive – server response speed was rated as “A” by both Bitcoin and webpage tests.

Kinsta Server Uptime (March 2018)

Note that Kinsta’s Uptime Guarantee is backed by a Service Level Agreement (SLA). If they fail to meet their service availability target, you will receive a credit of 5% of your total bill for each full hour.

Quality of service

Our goal is to ensure customer service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred and twenty-five days a year.

Our SLA has a 99.9% uptime guarantee. Our goal is to respond to Severity Level 1 notifications submitted by clients. We have a 30 minute emergency response time (error response). The goal of our error response is to acknowledge only one time, not the time to admit. We should not be given credit should we fail to meet our error response goals.

Kinsta Hosting Speed Test: Bitcoin A +

Kinsta Hosting Speed Test: Bitcoin A + Kinsta Server response speeds below 350ms worldwide. Note that our test site is hosted here at Kinsta’s Singapore Data Center – we normally have a small TTFB when testing from the Asia region.

2. Nineteenth Server location choice

Kinsta Uses Google Cloud Platform’s multi-regional deployment mode to ensure low latency and fast loading time. This means as a Kinsta user, you can choose from a list of 29 free data center locations for each of your WordPress websites.

To configure it, select a host location when you add a new site Kinsta Dashboard (see GIF image for demo).

I haven’t tested any hosts with more data center location options than Kinsta. If you want to keep your server close to your primary audience, for better site speed and other latency issues – Kinsta is a great choice.

3. Developer Friendly – A long list of useful features in my Kinsta Control Panel

I am usually skeptical when hosting companies tell me they are running on a custom-built control panel. Based on my past experience, this in-house control panel is often ugly, difficult to use, and lacks real functionality.

Thank God Kinsta is not the user platform in that case.

Kinsta’s custom-built control panel, known as Kinsta My, is impressive in many ways.

Before I dive in, here are some key features that make it so easy to develop and manage a WordPress website:

Support nginx, PHP 7, HHVM, and MariaDB

Built-in DDoS detection, hardware firewall and uptime monitoring

SSH and Git access only for all plans

As needed Scale-Kinsta is powered by Google’s cloud platform

Built-in database search and replacement tool (any third party tool)

Daily account backups (minimum 14 automatic backup files at a time) and restore sites with one click

HTTP / 3 Content Delivery Network (CDN) covering 29 POPs worldwide

Let me show you some of these features in the following screenshots.

Note: Kinsta also does not have any of my favorite overlay web hosts.

Dashboard overview

First, my Kinsta dashboard is beautiful and easy to navigate.

Setting up the staging area

It has an easy-to-use staging environment – which you can switch between live and the stage environment with a few clicks.

SSL certificate implementation

Adding a free or third-party SSL certificate, monitoring your site uptime, and performing a database search-and-replace can be done with just a few clicks.

The GIF image shows how you can add a free Let’s Encrypt Certificate to your site.
To enable HTTPS for your site in SSL Certificate Implementation Kinsta, login to your user dashboard> Site> Manage (from the list of sites you have added)> Tools> Enable HTTPS> Create a free HTTPS certificate.

Site backup and restore

Kinsta saves at least 14 pulled backups at a time. You can easily access and restore these automatic backups from me ৷ Kinsta. (Even with other hosts – even if they provide automatic backups, you need to contact their support team to begin server recovery.)
To enable HTTPS for your site in Kinsta Site Backup and Restore, log in to your Kinsta User Dashboard> Site> Manage (from the list of sites you have added)> Backup.

Auto scaling and overage charge

Kinsta is one of the few managed WordPress hosts powered by the Google Cloud Platform – which features automatic scaling and LXD containers.

This allows Kinsta users to take a different approach when overloading their servers (compared to traditional hosting providers). Instead of downloading the user’s site, Kinsta will automatically increase the capacity of their server and charge an additional fee of $ 1 / 1,000 visits.

4. Free hosting migration

Moving your site is as easy as Kinsta company will take care of everything for you.

Their support staff will assign a temporary domain to your transferred site and check everything (site load time, site functionality, etc.) before it goes live.
Kinsta Migration Request Form To start a site migration, fill out the migration request form on your dashboard.

5. Positive Kinsta forums and social media group reviews

It’s hard to miss Kinsta hosting these days because there are so many valid, unsolicited, positive reviews. Kinsta on social media networks, blogs and forums.

Here I read something and found it useful.

David Wang, founder of Click WP

I’ve used other WordPress hosts, but Kinsta has been the best so far.

My site is always online and fast without even trying. I haven’t experienced caching issues like some other managed hosts and I’m not worried about being suspended without resources like shared hosts. Their support team is small but they don’t let me down. They may cost a little more than other hosts, but they have been worth every penny.

I can’t recommend Kinsta enough.

Comp. The basis of extensive knowledge

A well-prepared knowledge base helps users deal with basic server problems and make rapid progress in site development.

Kinsta understands this and hosts a broad knowledge base for those who want to solve problems on their own.

Cons: Isn’t that so good Kinsta?

1. Kinsta at any email hosting

Kinsta is a WordPress hosting only. This means web hosts do not provide email hosting services.

To send and receive email through a business email account (some like email@mydomain.com), you’ll need to host your email account elsewhere.

Recommend Kinsta Google’s G Suite as an email solution (which is a good call) but it means additional costs for your day-to-day operations.
Kinsta provides email services. Note: Kinsta does not provide email services (source).

2. There are no cron jobs here Kinsta (small problem)

Keep in mind that Kinsta doesn’t support Krone – although that shouldn’t be a problem in 2018.

Backup and malware scanning is done automatically by Kinsta method. And if you need to schedule recurring server tasks, WP-Cron is your answer.

The staff at Kinsta have created this helpful guide on how to create and modify a WordPress cron job. Check it out if you need help.

3. Not for multiple low traffic WordPress site users

Three quick facts:

Kinsta does not jack up their price during renewal
There is no lock in the contract Kinsta, you can cancel your subscription at any time
Kinsta Hosting is about 20% cheaper than similar managed WordPress hosting providers in the hosting market

That said, however – starting at $ 25 and going up to $ 1,250 per month (annual subscription), Kinsta is priced as a high-end / enterprise hosting service.

The plan being reviewed, Kinsta’s starter, only allows one WordPress installation and costs $ 300 / year. Kinsta’s Pro, Business 1, and Business 2 plans allow multiple WordPress installations per account (2, 5, and 10, respectively) but cost $ 600, $ 1,000, and $ 2,000 per year. These are no small amounts of money – especially when you compare prices to the overall cost of building and maintaining a website.

For novices and bloggers with multiple low traffic sites – it is better to go with a cheap web host and invest that money in marketing or content.

Kinsta vs WP engine

Inevitably WP Engine has many similarities in their hosting plans compared to Kinsta.

Both companies focus solely on WordPress hosting, pricing their services based on visit counts and are proud to be WordPress experts.

At a glance, here’s how the two stack up.

Verdict: Is Kinsta hosting worth $ 30 per month?

Official response from Kinsta

  • We are delighted to see the team here WHSR can clearly understand the mission we are in Kinsta; Which provides high-quality managed WordPress hosting with the best support and speed in the industry.

Businesses that rely on their websites for monetization should see hosting as an investment, not another expense. There are many hosting providers that people can go with, but we try every day to choose Kinsta a “no-brainer.”
– Catalan Juhasaj, Kinsta

Kinsta is (easily) one of the top 3 managed WordPress hosting providers in the world.

They are perfect for bloggers who want their blogs to load very fast, web developers, need a strong environment for their custom code, or business owners who want a smooth running online store.

That said, though, Kinsta’s expensive price tag isn’t for everyone (compare market rates here) and focus on the WordPress website.
