Lacoste enters the Web3 market with the UNDW3 NFT collection

Well-known French clothing brand Lacoste starts working in the Web3 space with the launch of the UNDW3 NFT collection. The company announced this on Twitter.

The UNDW3 NFT collection contains 11,212 images of the famous Lacoste crocodile emerging from the water with glowing eyes.

The number of images refers to the L1212 polo shirt of Lacoste founder Rene Lacoste, which he designed in 1933.

Interested users have three options to get these NFTs. You must first join the Lacoste List following the WEB3 ecosystem or join the Discord brand group.

In preparation for the release of UNDW3, Lacoste launched its Discord server on June 6. At the time of writing, the Discord server has more than 91,000 members.

The second chance to get NFT is to win the draw on premint.xyz. Those who lost both chances can still take part in the public sale, which will take place on June 16 at 12:12 Central European Time. The cost of one NFT is 0.08 ETH.

Last week, the fashion company Farfetch announced that it had started accepting payments in cryptocurrency following in the footsteps of other companies such as Gucci, Tag Heuer and Off White. Balenciaga will start accepting cryptocurrencies both in regular stores and on its website in the United States.
