Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku remains determined to leave his current club and return to Inter, where he played in 2019-2021. At the same time, the Milan club does not have enough funds to carry out this transfer.
According to insider Nicolo Schira, in order to return to Inter, Lukaku is ready to cut his salary in half. Now he earns 12 million euros a year + 3 million bonuses.
Regardless, the deal still looks unlikely. Most likely, Inter can only afford the loan of Lukaku, but it is not known whether this option will suit Chelsea.
Lukaku has 15 goals and 2 assists in 44 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions this season.
