Microsoft: Avoid Windows 11 upgrades that go wrong on unsupported PCs

Windows 11 22H2, the first major update for the operating system, was recently released for Windows Insider testers on the Release Preview channel. Microsoft has warned that it should not be installed on unsupported computers that do not have TPM 2.0.

The fact is that Windows 11 22H2 has become available for unsupported hardware, which is why many thought that the company was ready to remove the requirements for hardware. In a statement, Microsoft explained that it accidentally released an OS for unusable devices and is investigating the incident.

The update is still displayed on the wrong PCs, and users can download it. Microsoft warns you if you have Windows 11 22H2 available and you know that the device does not meet the requirements, it is better to avoid upgrades for now.
