New insiders about the upcoming iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 have appeared online.
According to a source, insider Mark Gurman of Bloomberg has published new information about Apple’s future mobile operating systems. It will be recalled that the announcement of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 is expected at WWDC 2022 on June 6.
- First, Mark claims that the lock screen will change significantly at 16. According to him, Apple will introduce a special type of wallpaper that will have the ability to widgets and display certain information. The data on the wallpaper will be dynamically updated. Earlier we said that the iPhone 14 Pro is expected to Always On Display – iOS 16 obviously should also support it.
- Second, the iPadOS 16 will significantly redesign the multi-window system. There are no details, so far we know only this: “serious changes are expected in the multitasking windows.”
- Third, a small update awaits iMessage – Gourmet says the program will have more functionality related to working with messages that will be similar to social media chips. Audio messages are especially processed.
In addition, Mark said that in macOS 13 Mammoth “System Settings” will be redesigned and brought into general view with the Settings for iOS and iPadOS. Other system programs on the Mac are being redesigned.
