Oil inventories in the United States fell by 1019 thousand barrels during the period from May 13 to May 20, gasoline – fell by 482 thousand barrels

US commercial oil inventories fell by 1,019,000 barrels last week to 419.801 million barrels, according to a weekly report from the US Department of Energy.

Commodity stocks of gasoline decreased by 482 thousand barrels and amounted to 219.707 million barrels.

Commercial stocks of distillates rose by 1657 thousand barrels, reaching 106.921 million barrels.

Experts expected a decrease in oil reserves by 2129 thousand barrels, a decrease in gasoline inventories by 1641 thousand barrels and an increase in distillate stocks by 1000 thousand barrels.
