“If we start playing the championship, then we must help Ukraine, help the army, help people who have suffered from the war. If we don’t achieve this, then there is no point in starting the championship at all.
First of all, it is economic aid. Each match should be dedicated to the fact that we are transferring money to support the army, refugees and the country. And there is an image aspect – after each game, Europe and the world should talk about us. This is the main guarantee of the beginning of the championship.
If we meet these conditions, then we will start the UPL. And now we need to sit down and see in what situation we can meet these requirements. If we do not help the army and the country, then nobody needs it. We must think about how to help Ukraine,” the functionary said in an interview with Football NEWS.
