Against the backdrop of this event, discussions of the long-awaited device have intensified on the network with renewed vigor. An authoritative analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared his opinion on the timing of the release of the device.
According to the expert, PlayStation VR2 should be expected in early 2023. He became aware of this from conversations with his Chinese sources. They claim that mass production of the headset will start in the second half of 2022 – Sony intends to release about 1.5 million units by launch in the first quarter of 2023.
Recall that earlier Sony promised to release 20 AAA games by the release date of the helmet.
