Pushilin announced the involvement of the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in torture along with the “Azov”

The military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) is involved in the same heinous crimes and torture as nationalists from the Azov group commit (criminal cases have been initiated against its members in Russia). This was announced on May 27 by the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin.

“Unfortunately, we have evidence that some representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine committed no less terrible and monstrous crimes related to torture, rape, sadistic murders, and so on. Possibly worse, perhaps, somewhere than individual representatives of Azov,” Pushilin told RIA Novosti.

According to him, there are a large number of stories of such atrocious war crimes that defy the logic of a healthy person.

The court will publish information and evaluate each crime, the head of the DPR added.

On the eve of Pushilin pointed out the unacceptability of delaying the preparation of the charter of the tribunal against the nationalists. At the same time, he noted that there is no need to rush specialists, “so that there are no claims, even conditional ones, from the collective West,” it is necessary to work out the document in detail.

On May 20, a military historian, an expert of the Russian Military Historical Society, Nikita Buranov, told Izvestiya that the militants of the radical nationalist group Azov, in addition to using Nazi symbols of the Third Reich in their ranks, used methods of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) on people. The Azovites, who left the Azovstal plant in Mariupol in full force, were brought up for many years according to the system of the Islamic State terrorist group banned in the Russian Federation, he specified.

The day before, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said that in the Bakhmut DPR, Ukrainian nationalists equipped firing positions and sniper points on the upper floors of some multi-storey residential buildings, they mined the approaches to the houses, without notifying civilians about this.

On May 17, the Prosecutor General’s Office asked the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation to recognize the Ukrainian nationalist group Azov as a terrorist organization and ban its activities in the Russian Federation.

Before that, on April 27, Sergey Leonidchenko, senior adviser to the Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, said that the process of denazification of Ukraine would be completed, and those responsible for torturing and killing civilians would be punished.

On February 24, Russia launched a special operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass. As the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov clarified, the goals of the special operation are also the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine. According to him, both of these aspects pose a threat to the Russian state and people. Moscow also emphasized that it does not hatch plans for the occupation of Ukraine, and strikes are carried out on military facilities.
