According to him, Russians buy satellite images from Western firms through special “laying companies”.

Tsaplienko claims that the Russian special services are interested in locations in Kyiv, oil product bases, transport hubs, as well as the Rava-Russkaya and Ustilug checkpoints, which are located on the border with Poland.

Moreover, Russian agents through shell companies buy satellite images on the Gorlovka-Lysichansk front.

“Two conclusions made by military analysts. The first is positive – the occupiers lack their own satellite reconnaissance system. The second is not very good – our partners are very difficult to supply us with weapons and very easily give intelligence to the enemy. Of course, this can be explained by the fact that satellite images are property private companies, and they can do what they want with them,” Tsapplienko continued and suggested that Western intelligence services, if they wish, can stop the activities of companies “trading the lives of Ukrainians.”
