Samsung releases Galaxy M13 with Exynos 850 and 5000 mAh battery

Samsung has released a budget smartphone called the Galaxy M13 in South Korea. Information about its prices and availability has not yet been disclosed.

The new member of the Galaxy M series stands out with a V-shaped notch above the screen to accommodate a selfie camera. The device has three lenses on the rear panel, located inside a rectangular module next to the LED flash. On the right side of the phone shows a volume rocker and a power button, which is also used as a fingerprint sensor. The novelty measures 8.4 mm thick and tilts the scales at 192 g.

Galaxy M13 is equipped with a 6.6-inch Infinity-V display with FHD + resolution. The frame in it is slightly thickened at the bottom becomes minimal on the top and side. The operating system is standard Android 12 with truncated firmware One UI Core 4.1.

The heart of the Galaxy M13 is an octa-core Exynos 850 processor, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM. The device comes with two versions of built-in memory of 64 and 128 GB, which can be expanded up to 1 TB with a microSD card. On the back of the phone is a triple camera with a main sensor of 50 MP, which is combined with a wide-angle lens of 5 MP and a depth sensor of 2 MP.

For selfies and video calls, the Galaxy M13 is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera with fixed focus and F2.2 aperture. To connect, consumers will receive 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi support, A-GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack, USB-C and a dual SIM card slot. Finally, the power supply is provided by a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which supports fast charging technology at 15 watts.
