Spain has registered more than 100 thousand Ukrainians since the beginning of the Russian invasion

Over the past three months, more than 100,000 Ukrainians who fled the Russian war have arrived in Spain.

This is evidenced by government data, reports “European Truth” with reference to Euractiv.

The vast majority of the almost 109,000 Ukrainian refugees in Spain have been granted temporary protection status.

According to the latest figures from the Spanish Ministry of the Interior, 67% of those granted temporary protection status are women and 33% are men.

The status of temporary protection provides people with access to the labor market and social security.

As of April 30, 47,231 people with temporary protection status were of working age, of which 77% were women, according to the Spanish Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration. However, only 3,019 Ukrainians have found work so far.
