For more than three months of Russian aggression on the territory of Ukraine, the total amount of donuts in cryptocurrencies has exceeded $ 100 million. These funds are used to purchase advanced cars, drones and other necessary equipment for the Armed Forces.
This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformations Mikhail Fedorov.
“Over 3 months, the total amount of donations in cryptocurrencies has exceeded $ 100 million, of which more than $ 60 million went to the cryptofund Aid For Ukraine. With these funds we buy advanced cars, drones and other necessary equipment for our defenders,” Fedorov said.
“Blockchain company Everstake has donated $ 10 million in the crypt, of which $ 3.4 million – to our crypto fund Aid For Ukraine. These funds are enough to buy more than 5,000 bulletproof vests, each of which saves the lives of our defenders,” he added.
It will be recalled that the charitable NFT collection Save Azov was created in Ukraine from 777 pixel images of Ukrainian soldiers to raise funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Funds (40% of NFT sales) were to go directly to the Azov Regiment.
