A big Samsung Unpacked event is expected in August, during which the company will present new smartphones Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4, but a detailed list of Z Fold4 features has already been published on the Web. If this data is true, the new model will not be much different from the current – Galaxy Z Fold3.
Galaxy Z Fold4 is credited with a 7.6-inch Super AMOLED flexible flexible screen with QXGA + resolution and a 120Hz frame rate, as well as a 6.2-inch external AMOLED display with a Full HD resolution and a 120Hz frame rate.
The hardware platform will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, which is logical. The amount of RAM will be 12 or 16 GB, flash memory – 256 or 512 GB. Android 12 with the One UI 4 interface will act as a software platform.
The outer screen will have a 10-megapixel front camera, the inner – 16-megapixel under the screen. The main camera system will be represented by three modules: with sensors with a resolution of 50, 12 and 12 MP and, respectively, wide-angle, wide-angle and telephoto lenses. The latter will provide 3x optical zoom. In fact, the camera of the expensive Galaxy Z Fold4 will actually replicate the camera of the affordable Galaxy S22.
Galaxy Z Fold4 is credited with a 4400 mAh battery with support for 25 W charging, stereo speakers, IP68 protection, S Pen, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC adapters.
