The Pixabay photo bank stopped working in Russia

One of the largest free photobanks Pixabay no longer operates in Russia. This was announced by the Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.

Now users from the Russian Federation who visit the site see a message condemning the Kremlin’s aggressive actions in Ukraine.

“We categorically condemn Russia’s ongoing illegal war in Ukraine. In response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Pixabay is no longer available in Russia. To read reliable information about what is happening in Ukraine, visit the UN page.

Pixabay is a site with free photos and short videos. The service collection has more than 2.1 million files.
