In the regions, it was proposed to limit the departure of citizens subject to conscription

The parliamentarian noted that within the framework of partial mobilization, citizens who have four or more dependent children under the age of 16 are exempted from conscription.

“But this norm does not comply with the current legislation, we have large families with three or more children, and not up to 16, but up to 18 years. Moreover, if the child entered a higher or secondary specialized educational institution, then the family is considered to have many children until the end of education, but not older than 23 years old, ”the Moscow city news agency quotes Alekhin.

According to him, for conscription within the framework of partial mobilization from large families, it is necessary to be guided by this particular norm.

Sardana Avksentyeva, deputy head of the New People faction in the State Duma, noted that the Russian government should continue to create conditions for increasing the number of large families and maintaining the demographic situation, writes REGNUM.

In turn, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin suggested formalizing this initiative in the format of a protocol order.

On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a partial mobilization. He stressed that such a measure is necessary to protect Russia, its sovereignty, territorial integrity and ensure the safety of citizens.

According to the decree of the head of state, only those citizens who are in the reserve, and first of all those who served in the armed forces, have certain military specialties and relevant experience, will be subject to military service.

On the same day, Peskov added that the decision was made due to the fact that the Russian Federation in Ukraine is facing the military potential of NATO and a number of other unfriendly countries.
