The United States urges not to disconnect Russia from the Internet

The United States believes that Russia should have access to the Internet so that the inhabitants of the country can receive truthful information.

Price’s direct speech: “We urged intermediaries from all over the world not to disconnect Russia from the Internet, so that information continues to flow into the country, and the Internet remains free and open within Russia itself.”

Background: YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki said that the platform continues to operate in the Russian Federation so that there is access to objective information about events in Ukraine.
