Ukrainian juniors won three medals at the European Rowing

In the Italian city of Varese, the European Rowing Championship among juniors under the age of 19 years has ended, in which more than 400 athletes from 29 countries took part.

The national team of Ukraine won three medals – “silver” and two “bronze”, reports Ukrinform.

“Silver” for the crew of the Ukrainian junior eight – Kirill Furs, Vladislav Khrushch, Roman Rudenko, Roman Pokryshka, Evgeny Sotnikov, Pavel Bolotov, Nikita Oleinik, Mark Gaidar and helmsman Pavel Subit.

The Ukrainians took second place at a distance of 2000 m (time – 05.49.44), losing 1.29 seconds to the crew from Italy.

The bronze award was won by the Ukrainian crew of juniors – Zinaida Kataeva, Alisa Legenchenko, Elizaveta Nazarenko, Marina Demyanova, Daria Klevtsov, Irina Yatsulyak, Victoria Pashchenko, Anastasia Draga, helmsman – Anastasia Kozyr.

Also “bronze” in our junior pair four – Mikhail Grabar, Alexander Ivanov, Mikhail Mayko and Danilo Romanenko.
