Some Xiaomi smartphones are already based on MIUI 13 out of the box, but this firmware is still based on Android 12. Now the company is completing the development of the shell based on the latest Android 13 and has already begun its internal testing. This was reported by the profile portal Xiaomiui.
Currently, MIUI 13 based on Android 13 is being tested on three smartphones (Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Redmi K50 Pro) and one tablet (Xiaomi Pad 5). It is expected that the updated firmware will be released only at the end of the year – in the period from October to November. And first it will be available for the flagship and latest models, and then for the rest.
The company has not officially released a list of models that will be available MIUI 13 based on Android 13, but insiders have already compiled an indicative list.
