During a shareholders’ meeting on May 26, the company’s CEO announced that a ticket to the metacospace industry would cause significant losses in the short term. The company will lose money over the next five years, which will affect the value of shares (since the beginning of the year, they have already “asked” for 43%).
In the long run, the social network № 1 is still optimistic about meta-universes, despite the weak financial report for the 1st quarter of 2022. According to Zuckerberg, participation in the development of the meta-universe industry will bring profits, but we will have to wait.
