David Beckham fears for ‘safety of his family’ after woman claims to be Harper’s mother

Sharon Bell allegedly stalked David Beckham believing he and wife Victoria Beckham stole her eggs, and claims she even showed up at daughter Harper Beckham’s school

David Beckham fears for “the safety of his family” after a woman who mistook her for the mother of his daughter showed up at her school, a court heard.

Sharon Bell, 58, is accused of spying on the former Manchester United and England star, mistakenly believing he and his wife Victoria Beckham stole her eggs.

Bell is said to have sent letters to Beckham’s homes in Oxford and London before visiting their homes in July and September last year.

She also went to their daughter Harper’s school to speak to the girl and was there when Victoria came to pick her up, the Westminster magistrates heard.

Bell is said to be under the illusion that she is in a relationship with David, 47, and Harper, 10, as her children.

Prosecutor Arizuna Asante said of Beckham: “He feels threatened, he feels fear for his family’s safety, and he believes the behavior was targeted and threatening.

“He said he didn’t know the defendant and that she was not the mother of his children.”

Bell, from Watford, Herts, previously pleaded not guilty to stalking charges and will appear in court in July.

She did not attend the hearing yesterday and the court said she is currently in the hospital where she has been split.

Her lawyer, Lisa Wilson, says that if her client is not found in court to be insane, she wants the Beckhams to be called as witnesses in the trial so they can be questioned about their claims. her father.

The court hearing this will include making an offer to former Spice Girls singer Victoria, who has four children with her husband, “that she conspired with David Beckham to steal Sharon’s eggs Bell”.

But district judge Michael Snow said the “utterly bizarre assertion” would add to Beckham’s distress and their statement should be read instead.

“There is a risk of the family being further harassed, alarmed or distressed because of delusional allegations made against them,” he said.

The judge extended a temporary protective order of civil surveillance until the end of the proceedings, which he indicated was likely to go down a “mental path,” leading to an order to be hospitalized.
