Rukh General Director Igor Dedyshin in an interview with Football NEWS spoke about the need for a new UPL season.
“We believe that the next championship should be started. If we don’t start it, there will be dire consequences for Ukrainian football.
We believe that this championship should be played on the territory of Ukraine, in those regions where there are no active hostilities. This is correct both from a moral point of view, and from a political and economic point of view. We will definitely support this option.
This should be a consolidated position of the central authorities, and the UAF, and clubs, and local administrations. It is very important that after we make this decision, it does not cause discussions in society – that we have done something wrong, first of all from a moral point of view. So that there are no questions for people who decide that football stands out in some way against the background of the situation in the country.”
Director Ruhu: The decision to open the season is not guilty of calling for discussions with the conscience
General Director of “Rukh” Igor Dedyshyn in an interview with Football NEWS spoke about the need for a new season of the UPL.
“We care that the upcoming championship needs to be announced. If we don’t remember it, then there will be heavy consequences for Ukrainian football.
We do not care that this championship needs to be held on the territory of Ukraine, in quiet regions, without active fighting. Tse is correct from a moral point of view, from a political point of view, and from an economic point of view. We definitely support this option.
It is possible to consolidate the position of the authorities of the central government, the UAF, the clubs, and the municipal administrations. Even more importantly, since we praised the decision, it didn’t call for discussions among the courts – we were doing it wrong, right from the moral point of view. Sob it didn’t feed up to the people, as if they were violating that football can be blamed on the aphid situation in the country. “
