“Andriy Matyukha’s team decided not only to get rid of old equipment, but also to form new strong business ties,” the newspaper writes, adding that the coordinator between the Ministry of Education, libraries and the Favbet Foundation was Fazil Askerov, who announced plans in July 2020. construction of a new resort town “Danube” on the spit between the Black Sea and Lake Sasyk.
The new resort, in addition to hotels, entertainment centers and more provides for the creation of a large-scale play area. And the development of casinos and slot machine halls is a direct area of Favbet’s activity.

It will be recalled that in 2021 the company received a license for a land-based casino. Andriy Matyukh now owns the Billionaire Casino, located in the InterContinental Hotel, and the largest metropolitan FAVBET Casino in the Mercure Hotel.

“The Favbet Foundation is surprisingly consistent in choosing partners for social initiatives among government agencies. With the financial support of the Matyukha Foundation, a photo exhibition was presented with the presentation of the project of barrier-free “Code of Indomitability: Real Stories of Modern Heroes”, – write “Comments”.

It was at this event that Andriy Matyukha appeared in public for the first time in a long time. The publication suggests that support for social initiatives has worked on loyalty to Favbet.

According to Kommentari, the company is accused of violating the current law on legalization of the gambling business and providing bookmaking services without a license.

“In April this year, the Gambling and Lottery Regulatory Commission demanded that Cloudflare host Ukraine restrict access to www.favbet.com in Ukraine, which is accused of providing gambling services without a license. At the moment, the site continues to operate in Ukraine, “the publication reads.

It is noted that for the first year of legal gambling the state budget planned to receive UAH 7.4 billion. In January-November 2021, the budget received only UAH 1.3 billion. In the draft budget for 2022, the Ministry of Finance lowered its expectations and planned only 1.2 billion in cash.
