The wind will have a western and north-western direction, speed – 6-11 m/s, gusts up to 17 m/s in some places.

Atmospheric pressure will be 748-751 mm Hg.

Earlier, on September 1, Tatyana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist of the Meteonovosti news agency, told Izvestia that warming in Moscow and the region is possible in mid-September, and in general the month is expected to be slightly above the climatic norm.

On the same day, the meteorologist of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation Marina Makarova said that the arrival of cool weather to replace hot weather is associated with a change in air currents over the European part of Russia.

Prior to this, on August 29, Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, said that the sharp cooling that would come to the capital region on September 1 would linger for the entire first decade of the month.
