Hilary Duff opened up about body image in Hollywood in the latest issue of Women’s Health magazine

Actress and singer Hilary Duff has gone all out for the latest issue of Women’s Health magazine, in which she discusses body image in Hollywood.

The 34-year-old mother-of-three revealed she is comfortable with her body, despite the ‘change’ made in Tinsel Town.

“I’m proud of my body. I’m proud it gave me three children. I’ve come to a peaceful place with the changes my body has gone through,” she told Journal.

“I also want people to know a makeup artist was there to light all over my body and someone put me in the best spot,” she added.

Former star Lizzie McGuire went on to discuss how she battled an eating disorder at the age of 17 and that she was ‘obsessed with everything she put in her mouth’.

“It was horrifying,” she told the magazine.

However, after nearly two decades of attention, she said she is now at peace with her body, but admitted to hiring a trainer and working out four days a week to prepare for the photo shoot. .

“I think at 34, I’ve just gained a lot of respect for my body. It gets me all the places I need to go, it helps me build a beautiful family,” she said.

She said the positive turn came after the birth of her second child, Banks.

“I don’t even know if I have a chance to have another child [after divorcing Mike Comrie, the father of her first child, Lica]. So maybe motherhood again,” she said.

“It was a total combination of everything — settling down and realizing that I’m strong, talented and smart. All things spiritual.”

The star said she was very respectful of her body

Speaking to her 21 million Instagram followers about the photo shoot, the star added: “Sooooo, this is scary. I knew doing this would horrify me and I was right! .

“I feel strong and beautiful and laughed a lot doing some of these poses without the high-waisted jeans and oversized things I usually wear.
