“All institutions of general secondary education in the city of Chernihiv by pedagogical councils decided to extend the academic year until June 24. The educational process in all educational institutions takes place remotely. Deputy Head of the Department of Education of the Chernihiv City Council Elena Gornaya.
Principal of School No. 7 Natalya Kolotilo, using the example of her educational institution, said that pupils and pupils of grades 5-11 will be able to receive documents on education on June 29. According to the order of the Ministry of Education, the graduate will be able to personally come and pick them up, as well as one of his parents, another legal representative or a person by power of attorney certified by a notary.
“Today, the school operates online – remotely. The Google Classroom platform operates at the school, respectively, all students who have the Internet, the slightest opportunity and desire to learn, all study. Children who are abroad can also join school. Those students who study in other schools of the country and the world will complete the academic year there,” says Natalya Kolotilo.
Under martial law, all celebrations on the occasion of the end of the academic year in Chernihiv were canceled.
As Ukrinform reported, in the Chernihiv region, the Russians destroyed 8 hospitals and damaged 37 and caused damage of more than 2 billion hryvnias. For more than a month the region was under occupation.
