500 visitors visited the Sonberk winery in Popis, where a professional event called “Sermon in the Vineyard” was held. This is the third fair organized by the Czech Winegrowers Association. The main partner was the AGROTEC group of companies. 24 enterprises with the whole range of wines and wine products were presented.
“I am glad that we are a partner of such a wonderful event. Although we operate in three Central European countries, our headquarters are located here, near Palava, in South Moravia, in the wine region. Of course, we have something to offer winemakers as well, ”said Martin Rada, CEO of the AGROTEK group of companies, who was the main partner of the event.
Of particular interest to visitors were practical demonstrations, namely the fully electric autonomous robot Bakus from VitiBot. “Last year at AGROTEC we had the idea that our wineries should be more environmentally friendly. And because the hard work in the vineyard is huge, we decided to create this wonderful robot, ”said Zdenek Homola, New Holland’s sales and service manager.
At Sonberk, managers from the AGROTEC product group presented a new L-Series model with a capacity of 2.2 meters.
“This machine can dig a vineyard. However, the robot can also be equipped with a grinder, pre-cutter and trimmer. This is a truly versatile and 100% electric and autonomous machine. Charging takes 2 hours, ”said Leo Chermak, Product Manager, who is responsible for launching the Bakus brand in the Czech and Slovak markets.
“Such machines will definitely be suitable for the future. If you have a large area, you will not be able to do without modern equipment,” said winemaker Brzetislav Palichka from Mutenitsa, who farms on fifteen hectares, during the presentation of the biggest star “Sermons in the Vineyard.” ».
“At SIA 2022, Vitibot presented for the first time to the general public its Bakus wine robot, which is the most ready for commercial use. This new companion of the winemaker is an excellent representative of the latest technology, the necessary strength and accuracy and allows users to avoid tedious tasks in the vineyard. Bakus offers a solution for global viticulture that gives equal weight to the economy and the operating environment in real safety conditions. It is able to meet the current challenges of viticulture in terms of sustainable development. Bakus is 100% electric and offers a range of innovative tools for tillage and phytosanitary vegetation that meet the most stringent agri-environmental requirements. Bakus is the result of five years of research and development by teams of young engineers who combine a passion for robotics and ecology. The aim of the project is to offer new and more gentle methods of growing vines, which is beneficial to winemakers and the public, “- said in the magazine Partner.
